It was easier to see in the night though as the pure white snow lightened up Godric's Hollow. You could hear muggle Christmas Carolers singing in the distance. Robert Scarborough had his back pressed up against the side of his family's home as he peered around to the front yard in search of any signs of the enemy. The young auror wore a pair of jeans and black snow boots. To keep himself warm, he wore a black hoodie and a black snow hat upon his head. The only reason his clothes stayed dry in the snow was because he had placed a charm over them to repel water. A small grin crossed Robert's face as the enemy came into view in the front yard while a familiar car turned into the family's drive way. Hell no... the battle wasn't over just yet. While Evelyn Scarborough and the four Hogwarts students climbed out of the car, Robert bolted forth from his hiding spot, tackling the enemy onto the ground while he was unaware. "You arse!" Salem yelled at his older brother as Robert rubbed a handful of snow in his face while his own face was flushed from the cold and laughter. "Boys!" Evelyn Scarborough yelled. In twenty years, her sons had hardly changed a bit. "Quit fooling around and help with the girl's trunks," she said, holding back the urge to let out a sigh. Still laughing, Robert got to his feet, helping up Salem only to be shoved by him. Robert managed to stay on his feet though and helped to lift the trunks out of the back of the car. Lucy came running to hug him and Salem, causing Robert to nearly drop the trunk he was lifting. "Here you go, sport," Salem said, lifting his brother's trunk and practically shoving it into Bryce's arms. Robert and Salem with both tall and strong men and they both knew that their brother was going to catch up with them. Until then though, they were going to continue to torture him... out of love of course. While Salem grabbed Lucille's trunk, Robert gave Mercy hers before he picked up the on that remained: Juda's. Giving her a charming smile, he didn't give it to her, but instead carried it himself. He had been raised to be a gentlemen, but there was some other reason that Robert chose to carry Juda's trunk... whatever that reason was though, he didn't know. "Have a good term?" he asked her, ignoring the look that Mercy gave them before dragging her trunk up to the front door with her mother's help. |
