THE PERSONALITY

Jasten is an interesting example of a man. While his chosen career is usually populated by serious, stern men who are always business, Jasten has a tendency to be a tad bit more leisurely. His job has given first hand knowledge that life is entirely too short, and can be cut even shorter, so one should live it in a matter most enjoyable. As a result, he tends to be a rather outgoing person. This comes as a surprise often to those who know who he actually is. When actually doing what he is payed to do, however, Jasten is entirely focused on the job at hand. He'd not an idiot, and knows that were he to slack during a contract, he'd be killed.

Born in London, England, to a wizard father and a muggle mother, Jasten's childhood was relatively normal for a wizarding child of that era. As the First Wizarding War began the year he was born, much of Jasten's early life was spent in hiding with his mother. His father, a Hit-Wizard, was gone most of the war, fighting against the Death Eaters for his wife and child's saftey. As a result of being in hiding for much of the war, Jasten was relatively uneffected by the events, losing no loved ones in the conflict. By the time it was time for Jasten to go to Hogwarts, and join the ranks of the Wizarding world offically, the war had ended.

When he was accepted to Hogwarts. Jasten was absolutely excited. During the Sorting Ceremony, he was one of the many students who's sorting took some time to complete. The Sorting Hat found Jasten to have several traits, suitable for any of the Houses, with none in particular standing out. In the end, however, Jasten was sorted into Ravenclaw, his father's old house. This excited Jasten even further, as his father often spoke fondly of Ravenclaw during the few times he was able to see Jasten during the war.
