THE PERSONALITY
James is a bit of a contradiction. He's a pureblood, and carries some of their elitist mentality, but he does not always act on it. He is usually a laid back, uncaring sort of fellow. As long as he is not directly affected, he tends not to care about whatever it is that occurs. However, he does have a slight rebellious streak. James bucks under pressure to conform to what is perceived to be the norm. He hates being dictated to and has a nasty temper that rears up when he is. James is sharp tongued and can be quite cruel when he feels like it, but never goes out of his way to find victims. He simply lets them fall into his lap. He is a player, and will use girls without a second thought or guilty feeling. Overall, he seems like a pretty bad guy out outwardly, but he is simply who he is and has no shame or remorse for it. Despite what seems to be numerous character flaws, James has friends in all of the houses and looks past the surface of people to see who they really are. This is what allows him to be accepting of all kinds of people, while not backing any one particular group. He is astute and uses his observations for both selfish and selfless reasons. Although, over all, he simply wants to get whatever it is he may desire out of life, regardless of who looks down upon him or hates him for it.
